OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1989 by Brian Vogrinc and originally known as
Vogrinc and Associates, we became Vogrinc & Short, Inc.
in 1994 and are headquartered in Rockford, Illinois.

Presently, our company consists of Partners Brian Vogrinc
and Tom Short and a team of dedicated consultants with extensive experience in the manufacturing, industrial and distribution industries.

Our organization offers clients over 100 years of combined experience in recruiting professionals worldwide, with
placements ranging in scope from entry-level positions
to executive and C-Level management.

Vogrinc & Short, Inc. is committed to developing long-term relationships and providing each client with customized
services to meet their organization's unique hiring needs.
 		OUR PARTNERS
A native of Rockford, Illinois and NIU Alumnus, Brian Vogrinc began his career in the search business in 1977. Prior to
founding his own firm, Brian spent 12 years with two Rockford based executive recruiting organizations as staff recruiter and
Vice President. For more than thirty years, Brian has worked with all levels of positions within manufacturing companies located throughout the United States. He has represented both private
and public companies with annual sales ranging from $5 million to $10 billion.

Originally from Freeport, Illinois and an Alumnus of Monmouth College, Tom Short began his career in the search industry in 1981. In 1985, he joined a Rockford, IL based executive search firm where he met and worked with Brian Vogrinc. Tom left the industry in 1990 and spent two years as Vice President Employee Relations at AMCORE Financial, Inc. In 1992, Tom joined Vogrinc & Associates and reached partner status in 1994. Tom has worked with both private and publicly held manufacturing companies throughout the United States with sales from $5 million to $10 billion.
